One loyalty-points balance, wherever customers shop.
I’m working on a custom connector that links two Shopify stores and their separate Influence.io loyalty accounts for Socktopus. The project is designed to give customers one shared points balance across the online shop and physical stores, while reducing manual checking and adjustments by staff.
One main loyalty record
The online loyalty account is the main record. The retail account reflects that balance, giving the connector a clear reference when matching points across the two accounts.
What the bridge is designed to do
- Keep customers’ points balances matched across online and retail.
- Ensure in-store purchases earn points in the main online loyalty account.
- Deduct redeemed points from the shared balance so the same points cannot be spent twice.
- Reduce manual balance checks and points adjustments for staff.
